I’m reading “Daisy Petals and Mushroom Clouds: LBJ, Barry Goldwater, and the Ad That Changed American Politics” by Robert Mann about the infamous “Daisy Ad.” The ad ran only one time in 1964, but is still one of the most controversial campaign ads ever created and is what I will be discussing in my Media and Politics class tonight.
